Its been a while

I haven't been keeping up on my blog in a very long time not had any creative juices running through me in a long while. Which I am feeling now since we r moving and my scrapbooking stuff is packed up, isn't that the way it goes. Now I can't wait to get my stuff moved and unpacked for I can start back up scrapbooking and card making.

Setting at the pharmacy

Waiting for my prescriptions to get filled. Found out last week I am a diabetic, so there has to be some (if not a lot) of eating habits that has to change in my house. The first thing that went through my head was oh great all I need right now health wise. Now I think 'Well you wouldn't be in this prediction if you took better care of yourself now would you.' I know it runs in my family late in life diabetes but still I should have taken better care of myself and now I am worried about my daughter's health she doesn't eat healthy either. Her dad has diabetes also so there really has to be a change in eating habits for sure in our household.

February gone already

I got to say February had gone by really fast. Now it is march and my baby boy will be turning 8 on the 7th. Man time has flown by fast.

Got a lot of thing to do

I was asked to help make some birthday decorations for this month and need to get started on them started just hope that I have enough pink paper, I also need gray paper. I think I have a few sheets of that or at least I hope I do. I also have to make Valentine treat bags for church and Kodie's class might have to do all red on them.

Good Morning

I haven't been feeling to good since I gotten sick almost 2 wks ago. Oh I don't like feeling bad at all. I have been wondering though if maybe it is my nerves are making me sick now since my First Doctor visit is coming up for the Gastric bypass that I am wanting done. The first appointment is Feb 11th and I am kind of nervous. Then I think this is just the first visit what do I have to be nervous about right, well I am because this is a big decision for me and a big life change as well. I still have to do more research mainly for healthier recipes. I know there will be a lot of stuff I won't like and the stuff I do like I think I will make a recipe book for myself to refer back to when I need to, because I know that with trying different foods to see what my taste buds would like and handle will be a challenge to keep it all in my head, and my brain only holds so much at the moment, lol. If I don't write it down I forget about it anymore.
Well I got to get my kids off to school, will take pictures of some stuff I had gotten the other day and post them sometime today or tomorrow.

Here it is 5 AM

and still awake, man am I tired. The bug is going around in my house starting with my Daughter, then it hit me Friday and Saturday and still feeling it. Danny didn't help me out much with bugging me all the time and letting his nieces and brother constantly coming into our room watching TV, playing on the computer in our room and then letting the kids be loud the whole time I had a fever and in bed trying to get some rest, oh did I want to knock him up side the head, but felt to weak to do it and am still feeling the aches from being sick. (Why can't we bounce back like kids do?) Well anyways what topped it all off was when he said "I don't like it when you are sick" Boy did that top it all off (I have a short fuse at the best of times) I told him "Why because that I can't take care of you while you become sick" I even told him I didn't understand why he even cared if I was sick or not because he won't get up out of bed and then wake kids up so they can get ready and then take them to school he stays in bed until it is time to go get them and then he will ride with me and if he gets up sooner then that is when he wants to go have breakfast. I swear MEN are BIG BABIES when they are sick. Well anyways back to the reason I have been up is because not only does Danny have it (wish I had an air horn about now LOL) but our Son Kodie who is 7yrs old is sick he moaned and groaned all night between him and my coughing fits I could not get any sleep and I guess I will have to call off my Dr's appointment this morning and get another date because with Danny being sick there is no way he would be able to take care of Kodie. Go figure it would happen this way oh well there is always a bright side of things and right know I don't see it lol, hopefully soon though.

I know I sound like a whine baby but there has been a time or two I had to call my ex-mother inlaw to help me take care of the kids because I was so sick, (of course he can't cook so he is no help in that department either), now that is sad very, very sad if you ask me.

Feeling Under

the weather here. Picked up the kids from school yesterday and she was running 100.1 temp, poor baby. She wouldn't take no medicine for she was afraid that the medicine would not stay down. So I gave her a cool rag for her head and the fever spiked to 101.1 for about one hour and then started going down. This morning she doesn't have the fever but is aching a little all over still. The darn 24 hr flu bug stinks if you ask me, now I have the cough and oh man do I not like that as well. I get over heated and I start coughing and can't seem to stop until I can cool down. Oh well life goes on no matter if you are sick or not. This is the first time Dina has been sick all year though, everyone else has gotten sick in the house but her. Really she hasn't been sick with a cold or flu for 2 yrs just everyone else in the house has. It amazed me that last year when Kodie got sick for a week and then after he got to feeling better I got sick for a week and the Danny was sick for a week after me that Dina did not get sick at all. I was so jealous of her for not getting sick (even though I was happy that she didn't), I was like what the heck I want on her side of the barrier I don't want to be sick, lol.

Well that is it for right now, will try to post something later.

Finally

Got those pictures taken and wanting to share with you what I made at Cathy's Stampin' Up workshop this past Friday. I had fun getting away from the house for a few hours at least and doing something I like also. A lip balm purse, a gift box, a hand sanitizer box holder and a post-it note holder. (This post-it note holder looks a whole lot better then the first one I made lol.)




Here is what my son Kodie found on our steps before I had to get ready to leave for the workshop that evening. I ordered this the day before and was so surprised to see that it was delivered so fast. Only one thing was on back order and that was the Gypsy Screen Protectors.

These are 3 of the Cartridges that Danny had gotten me as well can not wait to use these as well.

There is a lot more of the Cricut Lites I want and it seems I will have to go searching because I can not seem to ever find them all at the same Wal-Mart.

Well I am off to see what I can learn about the Gypsy.

WOO-HOO

My stuff came in yesterday evening, and boy was that fast I did a 3 day shipping and figured the earliest would be maybe Tuesday but I got it the next day wow Custom Crops are awesome with getting their products shipped to their costumers in a timely fashion. I have ordered from them 2 or 3 times and I am always pleased with their products and when they are shipped out.

Went to that Stampin' up workshop last night and had fun, just getting out and doing something I want to do for a change is so much fun I hope to be able to do it again soon.

I will post the pictures of my goodies I got from Custom Crops and what I made last night a little later today got an appointment this morning.
