I wanted to add more background and more embellishments but my program is acting up. I will try and add some more to this during the process of moving the next 2 to 3 weeks. Which will be kind of hard, but I will try.

my program won't let me save everything, I can get a few things done and then get those saved but when I go to put a sample preview together it won't save. I am still trying though. Hopefully I will be able to get my program to work soon so I can get this to you.

I will be moving in a few weeks so after this kit I am trying to get loaded I might not get to post much until after my move, I will try and do something even if it is small. Just remember keep scrapping and have fun, until I return.

Hoping everyone will have a wonderful day today, visiting family. Me, just a small thanksgiving meal with my kids and other half. No visiting with family this time. Not much else is going on. Well try and have a little something by tonight, as long as my program works. It has been acting up, not wanting me to save anything I do. So check back later today, more by tonight, to see if I was able to save and download something for you.

New Freebie

Thanksgiving is just under a week away, and I am not ready for it, not being able to go visit family back home in IL, makes it not feel like a holiday. I will celebrate thanksgiving just for my 2 kids, if not for the kids I would be just eating a hamburger or maybe pizza or even a salad.

First Altered Coffee Filter Album

I made over the weekend, this is going to be a gift for my oldest sister. I need to make one more tag for the album then it is complete. What does everyone think?

The This & That

Here is the BG and elements I did not want to trash after I finished with them I was not able to use all BG's as of yet but have but will later on. I know that the colors don't match that is why it is a This & That kit. (There is a total of 21 bg.) Some was for other kits I am working on but wanted to share them right know. Altered CD

I altered a CD today, thinking maybe I might might make a few more as Christmas presents this year.

Its been a couple of Months Now

Since I posted anything. Things have not been going as planned here. I did finally get a Halloween kit done and hope everyone enjoys it. I just luv Halloween, my favorite holiday. I am hoping I will have time to post some add ons to this as the month goes by, but will have to wait and see, because I am so behind on getting some things done that it is driving me crazy that I haven't finished them. I should have a few templates done before the end of the month though. That is my goal for this month is to make a couple more page templates.

Another try at a template

I have been gone for a little while and then when I got back home had to get my daughter ready for school, which tomorrow is her first day, thank the heavens, LOL, I was going to send my son to pre-k this year but there is no bus to pick him up and with 1 vehicle in the family that would be kind of hard to get him to and from school each and everyday. So we decided to wait 1 more year.

So have been busy the last two weeks, plus trying to get a Thanksgiving/fall kit done and even a Halloween kit done. I decided to make another template.

Going to being away

My family back home decided to get me a bus ticket to come and visit them, so I will be gone until August 12th or so, but have things churning in my head for when I get back. Take care everyone

My First Template

Well really it is the 2nd but this is the 1st I am sharing with everyone. The first attempt that I did, did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I love templates, I hope you like this one that I done. I am hoping to do more as time goes by. Well here it is enjoy.

WOW! it has been a while

Well I finally got another kit done, took a while but finally got it done, I got the color combo for this kit from Kid City, well one part of Kid City anyways, my kids really loved it there. Here is the picture that I used to get the colors from.

I have been working on the second part of I got the blues kit but have not come up with anything that I wanted to go with this kit. Nothing seemed to talk to me with this one.
There will be little or no posting for the next 2 weeks for I will be gone, I do hope to at least be able to post a templete though, going to try my hand at that also. I don't want to let anyone hanging with wanting something new.

I was asked on how to download this and what program I use to do a Layout. I use Adobe Photo Shop Elements 5 but before getting this program I used a free program (that my Mother introduced me to) and that wonderful program/software you can get it at http://www.scrapbookflair.com/. Very user friendly and for the beginners that are just getting into digital scrap booking and not for sure what program to use or not enough money at the moment, this is a wonderful program to get your feet wet with digital Scrap booking.

As for Downloading, I have a folder in my documents that I named digital Scrap Booking downloads and then in that folder I have different sub-folders for each designer/site that I get my downloads that way I can give credit to them and not have to search everywhere for who or where I got it from. I save as is in that folder and then I unzip the file.

I went back and downloaded this weeks kit as well and everything downloaded fine, I just clicked on download now, then clicked to save as and save to the folder I have set up for it, everything downloaded fine and unzipped fine.

I don't know if this helped, please let me know if it didn't and I will see what I can find out for anyone that needs it.

Here is a Paper LO & a Card I done

Of my son playing dress up, his sissy made him a hat and put some of her make-up on him and made him wear a dress, which he did not mind at all. He came running to me and saying I Sally, I Sally, so that is the title I gave the LO. Can't wait for the time he gets old enough for a girlfriend and show her, LOL. But thank goodness it is a long time away, Picture was taken one month before his 4th Birthday.

The Card is for my DD to send to her Father, this is something my kids say all the time.

Well I can't beleive it is already Wed. man this week is going by so fast for me. I done a father's day kit for you this week, did not want to put ribbons or flowers on this for this is to be a kit for the father's. I am working on a 4th of July kit, but of course it can be used for Memorial Day, Labor Day as well and that should be posted by Monday. I hope to be able to post it by Monday. Finally got it done

I can not believe it took me so long to get this done, well if I didn't keep changing my mind I would have posted this earlier. With making 4 mini lunch bag albums, which is the first time doing them to my liking, so I don't count my first attempt. Among other things.

Come Friday there will be an Add-on to this mini kit, couple more papers and some more embellishment. Hope everyone enjoys this mini kit. Couldn't think of a name for the kit so that is the reason for "No Name Mini Kit"

Ok behind just a little today

I was planning on having a mini kit up again but I am running behind at getting that done, I should have it posted by Tuesday evening, and then there will be a add on again by Friday. Then I hope that every Monday there will be a mini kit posted and by Thursday a Add-on to Monday's mini kit. There will be weeks that there will only be one posting of a mini kit but when that happens it will be worth it (or at least I hope you think that it is). Those will be on a Wednesday when I do this. I will let everyone know when that is.

One Spring Day

This is the kit that I used for my Round LO, I really like how this one turned out this time. I am hoping to have another small kit posted by Thursday of this week. By making these kits I am learning more and more about my pse5 program. I just got to get used to makeing the embellishments for the kits. I got the inspiration for the colors from the picture of my kids playing at the playground the pic in the round LO.

Good Thursday Morning

I add some of my favorite sites I like to visit, some are digital and some are for paper scrapping, great places to visit and get inspiration and some encouragement when needed. I know I need the encouragement at times because I am my worst critic when it comes to my work.

Some Cards and 1st Altered item I made tonight

I got some cards done today used some sketches that are on the net and really luv using sketches for the days my brain is not wanting to be creative, I really enjoy making cards as well as make LO's. There are things I have not tried yet and well as soon as I can like using paint and alcohol inking and the list is long. Well I did make something for the first time and that is the altering something. it was fun but not sure if I like my first try at it. Now off to alter a paint can or a lunch box tin.

I have been playing around with my blog today while. Changing it up a bit, I kind-of like this style better. Maybe well keep it for a while. I might end up changing it around again soon, will have to wait and see.

I have been working on my PSE5.0 and learned more things today, like making my own brushes, and other things. So much fun and after getting a headache trying to figure somethings out on it. So much to learn, I don't think I will learn everything soon though.

Well I am having a harder time getting this going then expected, but oh well I will get there soon, I hope.

My first love is paper Scrap booking, I am not very good at it but I love all the papers and embellishments and stickers and and and. The list is forever long. I will not ever give up my Paper Scrap Booking but come on there is pictures I know I won't get printed out, thank goodness for digital cameras, I can take a lot of pictures and only print out what I want and put the rest on disk, right. Well thanks to my Mom introducing me to a free program I tried it and found out I like that idea of making my own CD albums with those pictures that are not that good but don't want to get rid of them.
